Spotty - What a cutie

Well Patchetts have a new horse ... well a prospective new horse anyway ... ok a pony then. He arrived a little nervous, and the yard tried him for a week. In the first week he managed to dump his rider on the floor each day.

When it came round to the weekend they descided they would try him out on me ...

We were in the indoor arena and it all started quite carmly till we asked for trot ... and well lets just say he exploded ... very impressive for such a small chap. Bucking an plunging down the length of the arena, I lost both reigns and when I got them back we were well into our experience. As we arrived at the far end of the arena I was trying to descide if we were going to jump the gate or just go through the wall. When we got to the corner of the school he descided to stop, which was fortunat really as nothing I had to say had any influence on his chosen path. We stopped to find the rest of the group lesson standing arround the arena looking at me rather confused ...

The riding school were comming to the conclusion that maybe Spotty was not really a riding school pony. Nevertheless he was still arround the next weekend and they gave him to me to jump.

What a star he was, a really fun ride, and the week after we did some small cross country ... I love him ... if they don't keep him maybe I will buy him - even if he is a bit small for me !!!
