Seamus - The first horse I could call my own.

After Lucky was taken away from me I descided it was time to buy my own horse. Seamus was a chestnut 10 year old 16.2hh Irish Draught x TB gelding.

I had him for two years or so, until the dealer who sold him to me, surgested I replace him with one more suitable.

He got very stressed out at competitions, it was thought best that I part with him. The very sad thing for me was that we were very close. I never did take up competeing seriously with my replacement horse, Willow.

If I had known that, I would never have parted with him. He was a real character, I sometimes even used to ride him to University. I miss him very much.
