Humping the jumps.

22 August 2001
George is an odd beast. My riding instructor has quite a serious back disorder, and its hard for her to carry the jumps. One day I was feeling lazy when I offered to help and decided to see how George would react if I tried to pick up a jump wing while still on his back. To my amazement, or not as the case may be, he was very trusting and did not flinch. The upshot of this is I can now help fetch and return the jump wings for my instructor without getting off George. I have to say its a hell of a lot easier to ride with them than carry them walking!
