A Bank Holiday Weekend

13 April 2001

Well summer must finally be here ... although you would be hard pushed to think it given all the rain we have had ... then again I will put money on us having a hose pipe ban again this summer.

Bert and George have been kicked out of their nice warm stables into the field for the summer ... unfortunately finding a nice field for them right now is a bit tough. We have found a temporary home at the top of one of the school fields, but it wasn't long before you could tell that B&G had been there.

Of course you know how easy it is to lose a horse and how hard they can be to catch again ... it was kind of funny how the lead rope kept unclipping itself every time I brought them in from their field for exercise ... It must have taken me a good hour to catch them. Probably a pair of faulty lead ropes ... I must remember to get them fixed once B&G have their summer field.
