Aristotle - A friend`s Irish TB dressage horse.

Aristotle was Philippa's dressage horse. Aristotle is a bit of a mouthful so he was called Arrie at home.

Arrie was an Irish TB gelding Advanced Dressage horse. Philippa taught him advanced moves such as flying changes and canter pirouettes.

Unfortuntly Arrie was not a well horse when Philippa got him. In fact he was not given long to live by the vets, he had a degenerative bone disease in his back. Philippa bought him anyway, and paid 500 Pounds for him, his tack and rugs.

Under her care Arrie lasted a long time and to the surprise of everyone competed very successfully for many years.

Unfortunatly, despite all the efforts of vets, Arrie had to be put down. Arrie and William were the best of friends, and on Arrie's last day we turned them out together for one last time. It was a tearful moment.

Since Philippa no longer had Arrie she took a part share of my horse Willow.
