My first ever foaling

This was the first foaling I ever saw. We waited for hours on a cumfy sofa in a large barn for the mare to foal. We waited 5 hours.

At about 1am in the morning, she gave birth. It was very dark in the barn because we didn't want to disturb the mare.

When I took the photos I could not see a single thing through the view finder. Imagine how please I was to get these nice photos to remember the day by.
